I just had surgery here yesterday and have to rave about a specific nurse by the name of Sonia. She was my pre-op nurse at 5:30am and took care of me as if I was her own daughter. She was fantastic and she made the whole horrible experience of surgery so much better even in recovery when the other nurse wasnt paying attention. Truly an angel❤
Great Coffee at the cappuccino café! Great volunteer staff! Great nurses! Just don't let Patricia Masse or Jane Lamp be your dr! They will lie about your loved ones progress and even tell you they are getting better even after 6 other specialists have told you nothing else could be done. The two of them could even collaborate and perform unnecessary medical treatments, but will have another specialist perform it so it's not on their heads! I was there for 3 nights and 4 days because of surgery. I was treated like a queen. The facility is gorgeous. There is a lot of dumb red tape like having to get an ID the day before surgery but the care is top rated. Ortho has private rooms. All I had to do was push a button and someone was there. No waiting. And the food was delicious. I had a melt down when I went to rehab after being catered to hand and foot.
When I was pregnant when to these hospital for an allergie that I got, to make the story short Doctor gave me a prescription that said do not take if your pregnant. Sorry but to me is the worse hospital. I had my baby at St. Mary's great hospital, nurses, staff and my doctor that did the c section is the best. Plus I been there before because my friends have their baby's there.
This is by far the absolute worse hospital. I am in the medical field and I will make it my mission to inform the community to stay far away from this hospital. I went in with pain and difficulty breathing. I was ignored, sat for hrs and told I wasn't really in pain. I left and went to another hospital. By the time I entered the other hospital, I was being sent to ICU. I won't go into what was wrong but I was there for over 2 weeks and told I had a 12% chance of living.
