I have just recently joined this doctors surgery due to me relocating and I do not recommend it, the receptionist think they always right, I have booked doctors appointment on 4 occasions 1 f2f and 3 telephone and all 3 times I haven’t received a phone call from the doctors so when I ring back the next day to say I never recieved a phone call the reception said to me there isn’t an appointment booked when the receptionist who booked me an appointment said there was an appointment booked the second time I rang they said the s... read more
Despite other surgeries being closer; I've stayed with this practice for quite a few years now, the receptionists have always been easy to book appointments with and for the most part the GPs have been professional and very helpful. Today especially Dr. Elliss was very helpful, I didn't feel rushed during my appointment, everything was explained to me and any worries I had were relieved. Said i should wait until NOVEMBER to get an appointment!!! Had to ring multiple times on multiple occasions to get my prescription sent to my pharmacy. Ended up needing to request an emergency prescription. When I asked for an evening appointment rather than 7AM, Dr. Ellis said to me “Would you rather wake up at 7AM and change your life forever, or would you rather spend that time sleeping” Genuinely, who the hell do these doctors think they are? Moved from another surgery after having multiple appointments cancelled with another practise. Have had excellent service from the entire Welbeck team since I joined. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming and my experience with the practitioners has been fantastic. Yes, waiting times for a general appointment can be a little long, but I genuinely feel like everyone is doing the best they can with the resources they have available. Thank you!
