Even though the hotel is closed, you can still access the car park to charge (as of August ‘26 at least). We used one of the CCS fast chargers- worked a treat first time. I used the app so can’t comment on the contactless.
The station is located in the car park of a closed down hotel so it can be a little bit hard to see. I had to pay for it via the Weev app as the contactless did not appear to work. A second car arrived and charged successfully so both of the rapid chargers worked
Worked great. Glad to find a reliable EV charging station after passing so many big name service stations with none to offer. Looks like the hotel property that the charging station only just closed its doors recently sadly, so can’t be sure how long this station will stay active.
Charged again today, was in Donegal and on my way home. Used CCS pretty good speed. 90% while we had a nice coffee and scones and used facilities in the Mellon Country Inn.
