Went to bexhill we buy any car last week as thought it would be easier then selling private and trying to manage around work, the guy I see told me he would give me £1000 and it’s not worth anymore than that maybe 1200/1300 if I’m lucky. I didn’t listen and took it home put it up for sale privately for 3 times what he offered me, was inundated with people wanting to buy it, first person that came to see it test drove and bought my car. I remembered seeing their sales pod in Ravenside, Bexhill when I went shopping the other weekend, so telephoned Mark to see if I needed to book an appointment. He said that he was free until later on that day, so I could just turn up and wait if someone was making an enquiry. As per the other reviewers - seem to make the price up based on how much they think they can get away with. Massive difference to the online quote. Waste of time. Really salesy bloke as well. I'm assuming they get paid more based on how successfully they rip off sellers...
I don’t tend to write reviews, but this had to be said. I done an online valuation which quoted me £8,000 which I then took the vehicle same day and was quoted £7,000. I advised I’d come back in the morning once I get an update on my new car. There was a different guy there who then quoted me £5,500. I questioned the significant drop, he told me we all base individually. How on earth you lot make up your figures is beyond me. I then used motorway the next day and sold it for £8,025. We buy any car is an absolute rip off.
