i setup appointment for curbside covid testing. when I arrived at Nextcare I called the number on the door to advise that I had arrived. the individual advised that it's too hot outside and asked me to step inside. I advised that I was possibly exposed to the virus and didnt feel comfortable going in. She again stated it was too hot and there were forms to be completed and it was too hot to go back and forth and again asked me to enter. everything about the organization and how care is conducted in this place is terrible and unethical. two providers have some idea of what a patient needs from a provider but no one had any kind of inkling of how to treat an ill person especially someone experiencing one of the worst hours of life. anyone with illnesses that are not visible to the naked eye and are beyond the most basic antibiotic or bandaid, save yourself the trouble and go to MU or the ER.

RecommendedThe staff has always been courteous and helpful. Today the waiting room was set up for social distancing, and all staff were masked and gloved. We were seen promptly and were there less than an hour.
I was there for a shoulder injury. The nurse practitioner came in didn't wash her hands nor did she have on a mask. Asked me 3 questions and didn't even examine or look at my shoulder but ordered X-rays. She couldn't read the xray and had to send them to the Radiology dept to read. Wanted to give a shot for inflammation and pain, but did not confirm the other medications I had taken. After I asked about them she changed the dosage of the medicine. this place is ridiculous. I made an appt and when I get here to check in, they said it's a 2-3 hour wait. There's a reason why it's called an appointment, you make it so you get seen at that time not 2-3 hours later. They are so unorganized and it took them 4 days to return a call to me for my follow up appt.
