Didn't do any rides. We went for the Charlie Wilson and Joe concert. That I'll give a 5 stars to. Food prices were up but we're talking about the fair. Personally if I had kids I don't think I would go. The price for rides and food would take at least one pay check or more depending on how many kids you have.

The dizzy passes were outrages this year. The fair closes real early. The only thing that was going was the rides until 10 p.m. But what's the use for the parents when everything else closes at 9. It was just a complete shock. But other then that everything else was great. We as a family love it there. Looking at all the vendors, animals, hobby hall, love the dinosaur exhibit, and of course the food. I don't see why make the days longer if your going to close on Tuesday and shut down earlier?

Not what it used to be. I know things change but gosh I miss the days of sawdust everywhere, vendors OUTside the fair for last minute "fair food" for the drive home, ALL of the animals there at the same time, and food that was actually worth what you spend on it. It used to feel like...well the fair from when you parked to when you were in there. Now it feels more like any other large commercialized "vendor" event that you can go to. All of the old fashioned part of it is gone. Kinda sad. We still go but stay there less time... read more

Fair was great. Love those scones. Bought my wife some of those light up shoes from a vendor. $55 and they stopped working the next day. Buyers beware
