The fair used to be about fun and family time. Food, though still a bit pricey, was affordable, and rides only cost maybe $2 each. I grew up packing a lunch in, eating sweets there, and loving all the animals. This year, we took my godchildren. Parking was a nightmare, entry was ridiculous. $14 to get in? Not even the zoo costs that much! We could barely walk through the vendors area without being accosted, food was ridiculous. I mean, $14 for just a burger. No drink or fries. we had to force my older godson to pick just 2... read more
Well it is a great place to be with the people you love and care about. It is an event that every single Washington resident should appreciate. By the way the Sea Gals show made my day....
Was disappointed this year. Skipped last year. Gave it another try this time still not like the good ol fair. Even with our free tickets it's just to expensive to enjoy. Do I want to get in and park and grab a bite to eat or spend that money household things. Hmm. Don't think next year will be a question. To to spendy. Missed the animals. And the handmade things. Maybe you you turn it into a carnival.
Why do we need to be attacked by pillow people and car insurance salesman? I don't feel I need to tell them who I use and what rates I have, NO ONES BUSINESS. The food is CRAZY expensive and the people are terrible to deal with. I miss the Washington stands and friendly farms and crafters. It's unfortunate that nothing will change even with so many negative reviews.
We had such a wonderful time with our friends and family. Fair food, rides, games, exhibits, animals and neon lights, all these things combined make for some amazing memories.
I had a blast its been years since I went.. why no map?? Why did no one seem to know where anything was?? I'd like to see a digital map if nothing else. Guidbook is a great ap for this. Other then that I rode rides ate yummy food and played for hours ♡♡♡ ill be back next year. :)
We went all day Saturday and bought 2 dizzy passes. Well worth the money! Another great time!
