In 1921 Bruce and Bob Walters opened a bicycle shop which in 1922 became a Harley Davidson dealer. In 1931 Bruce and his wife Gladys Walters moved from Galesburg to Peoria and they purchased Harley Davidson Sales and Service. In 1949 Bruce built a new store that was known as one of the most modern in Illinois at the time. This store has a great variety of clothing. Friendly staff and BEAUTIFUL bikes! We even bought a HD toy for our dog, Carlee. Can't wait to see her surprise because when squeezed, it roars like a Harley# VVRRROOOMM!!

the best place to buy a bike
Our first impression of your business was spectacular. very nive and clean it looked awesome as we strolled through the shop area. Everyone was welcoming us to the event like we were family stan steve and even Wayne intoduced himself to us. All the events were scheduled perfectly and the entertainment was awesome. we do not own a bike but if i did i would sure go to walters brothers. Myself and Kathy have bought several bikes from Walters Bros. HD over the last several years and we absolutely love the entire staff there. Hands down they simply are the best !!!! Some folks wonder why WBHD, and I say loyalty !!! As long as they continue to take care of us with such passion, professionalism and Harley Pride we will be customers for a long time !!
