In 1921 Bruce and Bob Walters opened a bicycle shop which in 1922 became a Harley Davidson dealer. In 1931 Bruce and his wife Gladys Walters moved from Galesburg to Peoria and they purchased Harley Davidson Sales and Service. In 1949 Bruce built a new store that was known as one of the most modern in Illinois at the time. I can’t say enough about the service Department. Saturday I was out for a ride. I live in Macomb. I got close to canton and noticed some wet spots on my gas tank. Figured out I was leaking fluid from the clutch do to some bad work from iron eagle in Galesburg. I got to Walter brothers and explained my problem and they sprung into action. They wiped the bike completely down because the fluid is very corrosive and tightened all the fittings and didn’t charge me a dime. Amazing, you have my business from now on. Thank you again

I was on a trip and my chopper broke down near Peoria Il. Called these guys up and they came and picked me and my bike up. The service guys stayed after closing to help get me back on the road. Great guys who are willing to do what it takes to help a fellow biker. Thanks guys!
