In 1921 Bruce and Bob Walters opened a bicycle shop which in 1922 became a Harley Davidson dealer. In 1931 Bruce and his wife Gladys Walters moved from Galesburg to Peoria and they purchased Harley Davidson Sales and Service. In 1949 Bruce built a new store that was known as one of the most modern in Illinois at the time. Giving a BIG thank you to Craig and Billy for getting the rear tire changed on my 16 RGU on a Sat at 2:15 pm.. Found a screw in it so I called and was going to leave it for pickup on Tues. When we got there the wife told Billy she didnt like leaving it anywhere for any period of time. So Billy thought he might be able to get it changed so she didnt have to worry over the weekend (lol) and that we would be able to ride the long weekend..Rolled out of there about 3:45 .Again Billy and Craig THANK YOU and GREAT JOB
