I was seen by a nurse Jimmy Byrne and he was the nicest nurse ive ever seen and the most informative ive seen. He described all my injury in full and everything I need to to and should do to recover. I couldn't have asked to be seen by a better nurse. Thank you so much jimmy From Gary
So so poor 4 hrs waited and left with still 4 in front of me. Absolute joke the system is broken and no care at all
I attended this morning arrived at 7.45am although they didn’t open until 8, I had a fall and severe bruising on my knee was seen in reception then triage, minor injuries sent me for xray and back to minor injuries the staff were all wonderful, polite and efficient I was out by 9.15 lucky enough there was no major damage to my leg or knee. Even if I had to wait another 3 hours for this service I still could not moan the staff were brilliant even though they had a few rude and abusive patients they had to deal with. Every time (thankfully this is not too often) I have been to the Wallasey walk in centre I have received fantastic help, support and advice. Amazing team providing excellent service.
I walked in and went to reception very helpful and i was told to wait but there were about.30 people or so also waiting to see a triage nurse i expected to wait anyway for awhile but it was 4 hours waiting time and i was told i was better going to A+E arrow park hospital because Victoria hospital x-ray department would be closed by the time i saw the triage nurse i had a fall and fell onto my knee and was in agony but unfortunately i have to go to arrow park hospital in the morning to have an x-ray.
