This is my message to that veteran. I understand your position... Just wish we could work with more compassion first rather than suspicion. any one who refuses service to a person with a service Dog should be shut down.. you better be glad it was not me and my Daughter were not the ones you dealt with.. I would own your store.. SHAME on Walgreens for hiring a stupid idiot for a manager.. study the law before you think you know them.. you violated this mans rights and it is a total shame.. I wont be shopping at any Walgreens because of this, and I will make this as public as I can.... Shame on you
Walgreens discriminates against disabled American Veteran's and their service dogs.
I was extremely disappointed and heartbroken concerning the treatment of a customer and his service dog. I sincerely hope this issue is handled promptly and effectively. There is an entire community who support wounded warriors in need of service dogs who will not stand back and allow this ignorance to continue.
A lot less than I used to, after seeing the video of a man with his service dog being confronted by a Walgreen's manager. These dogs are beautiful, loving, well-trained companions. I am sure that the dog is cleaner and more well-behaved than some of your customers !! Welcome a soldier who is dealing with some very real issues into your store-WITH HIS SERVICE DOG-instead of turning them away like a pair of criminals !!Shame on you, Walgreens !!
WTF is it with your company? I had some dumb lady fill the wrong prescription of mine (which was not the one on the paper I gave her and told her to fill but the one in the computer that I was no longer taking) and then give me an attitude that she couldn't fill the other prescription for fear of getting in trouble with the state. Then she was rude to me on top of that. I am a calm talking person for a Marine but I was 10 seconds from chewing her out.
