Best Burgers Period – Both Peachtree and Little Five crank out the best burgers you can get in this town. And I drive all the way in from Alpharetta to get them. Seriously worth the trip.
Get sucked into the Vortex – Mmmm...this is a tasty burger! Do you have a cold beverage so that I may wash this tasty burger down? Find it all at the Vortex! Good food, cold drinks, and an eclectic atmosphere.
Worst service in ATL – From the hostess to the wait staff, all you get is awful service. None know how to run a restaurant. This makes the good food turn bad and not worth the effort.
8 – The vortex is the best place in Atlanta to go for burgers...period. I have listened to others touting various local establishments for this title, but I always go back to the Vortex when I want a juicy hunk of beef.
The Laughing Skull... – ...may be scary, but the burgers are awesome! The newer location in Midtown is swankier, but the original Little 5 is the better experience. First of all, there's the fun-house entrance with the giant laughing skull, then there's the deck and a clientele that ranges from preppies to bikers to bohos. The menu itself is worth a trip--filled with wiseacre remarks about substitutions and your attitude. But the best part is the burgers--sloppy, huge and hot off the grill. And the fresh fries are great too.... read more
Great for grubbin – try the burger with a tater tot side. they're yummy!!! crabby bartenders to match the decor. very authentic.
average at best – I don't know what all the hoopla is about?? It's a BAR!!!! W/ BAR FOOD. Most things are fried & the burgers are ok, I prefer mine cooked over hot coals, like the way they cook them @ HIGHLAND TAP, go there to check out Atl's best burger, leave the Vortex & the fried cheese sticks behind.
killer hamburgers – I live in Alabama, and was visiting my daughter in Atlanta. We went to Vortex, and the atmosphere, food and surrounding area were really great. Best HB I've ever had. (and I've had a lot!)
Hamburger Heaven – This is my favorite restaurant in all Atlanta. Great food, especially the tater tots and bacon cheeseburgers and a side salad. Both locations are fun but the Little Five one is my favorite.
