They are supplying a huge quatity of zinc on our project, but will not come to site to inspect the installation, which is very disappointing
I called VM regarding water penetration around the velux rooflights in a zinc roof 5 years into the 10 year guarantee. They drove 2 hours each way to visit the site and inspect the roof. They talked me through their work and explained what they thought the problem was and what needed to be done. They didn't think the fault lay with their work and i could see why. VM Zinc failed to get a contractor to fix a problem with a new standing seem roof. VM Zinc say noise is nothing to do with them. What A cop out. The problem being 600mm standing seam zinc roof in 25mph + winds flaps, slaps up and down making a thundering noise, with it banging up and down.
