I have not been able to get a face to face appointment with a gp for over 2 years, I am sure I am not the only one who has been very frustrated, what has happened? gone are the days when you called the surgery & the next day you see a gp. I called on Monday 14th July wanting to speak to anyone, I was at the end of my tether, the male receptionist was so kind, listening & taking notes, at the end of our conversation he asked would I mind receiving a text, I agreed thinking, here we go the text will read 111, but at least that... read more

Visited old school surgery at 840am today 26th June and was pleasantly surprised to find a very helpful, caring and empathetic receptionist on the front desk....usually dread going in there as some have been very snotty and condescending in the past. Hope this receptionist stays as she is exactly how all GP receptionists should be towards patients. A great improvement.

I never do reviews but old school is terrible since vita healthcare took over. Takes months to get an appointment, and usually with a random Dr, they never follow up treatment or update notes correctly. I'm still waiting for access to their online system to get prescriptions after filling in paperwork for 2nd time weeks ago. I know of at least 2 cancer patients who were late getting treatment due to this surgery, 1 of which died after being told their condition was "just them fretting and nothing wrong with them" they went p... read more

Had an issue with a telephone appointment—was given a one-hour window but never received the first call. The second call came when I couldn’t answer, and I lost my place. I felt disappointed and misunderstood. However, the practice manager called me back, handled the situation fairly, and rebooked me. I’m happy with the outcome now.
