My 6 year old daughter was misdiagnosed at the Lindenhurst ER location. Had I not trusted my instinct, she wouldn't have made it. After an 8 day stay downtown at Lurie, she survived but has to have blood thinners injected into her gut every 12 hours for at least 3 months. This all could have been prevented if she had received a strep test when I brought her in to Vista. I will never trust them for anything ever again.
Is this the old Victory Hospital, that has changed their name to Vista Health Systems?
I have had many experiences with this hospital and I'm always always disappointed. This is the nearest hospital but I will never voluntarily walk through those doors again!!! The admitting clerk is very rude and after waiting over three hours in the waiting room, nobody's name was called!!! I finally walked out and am going to be seen in a professional hospital. The staff here isn't professional. The doctors and nurses here were so much in a hurry they didn't listen to what I had to say. They just told me what they thought was wrong then left the room. Very much wish I made the drive and went to Condell in Libertyville.
Great knowledgeable staff. I would definitely recommend this facility.
My husband went in yesterday afternoon after experiencing pain in his lung's and coughing. After 3 hour's of waiting, they didn't even x-ray his lung's. No medication. Today we are going to see his primary who sent him to the ER in the first place, to get medication's and treatment that he should have received at Vista. He is also diabetic. Very dissapointing.
