Four months ago, I mailed an application for a duplicate copy of my son's birth certificate to the address listed on the vital records website. I followed all instructions and submitted payment. I still have not received his birth certificate and need it immediately for his day care provider. I went into the office today and the process for a record copy was fast and easy. I do not recommend mailing in a request, they are 6 weeks behind on the mail. If you try calling the inbox is full and I was 35th in line.
Absolutely horrible organization doing what they know is wrong.
Waiting in line outside in the sun with 84 yo mother with walker for 3 hrs just for a marriage certificate so she can get VA benefits was cruel. Not enough people working.

I would like to file a formal complaint against one of the investigators through the board of professions. He obtained my entire medical chart from my physician without contacting me. He had no right to do so because I was not a Person who filed a complaint.
