I recommend NOTHING about this department. I will keep this short as possible. For over a YEAR. This department has denied and returned my application for documents . After finally speaking with someone I was told, that Virginia would not honor ANY out of state court documents. I must domesticate everything in VA. When I inquired as to my money orders and documents that were NEVER returned, I was told they (money orders and documents) were being kept as part of "the file". RecommendedThe process was quick and efficient. I was in and out in 15 minutes . Customer service was beyond my expectations. Great organization!
Everyone there was extremly nice and helpful with cheerful attitudes. I was able to get the birth certificates for my grandparents that I needed from the early 1900's to complete my D.A.R. application! Thank you!!

Answer the phone! I've been on hold for over 45 minutes for something that should be explained/offered on your website. This is ridiculous!
