We had coffee, pastries, Chilaquiles [crispy corn tortilla chips lightly tossed and simmered in a warm red sauce (salsa roja), topped with two fried eggs, fresh avocado, and crumbled cotija cheese] and Eggs Benedict with smoked trout. All were excellent. The Eggs Benedict was absolutely the best I have ever had, perfectly seasoned and cooked. It was a beautiful day to sit out on the porch.
For my wife’s birthday we got the 8 course tasting with the wine pairing, and it was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed each of the courses and the perfect wine pairing that went with each. Amuse bouche, shrimp dolmas / vegetarian dolmas, morel tortellini, scarpinocc pasta, carnaroli risotto, duck / sea bass, intermezzo, nocciolo, dessert. All incredible. The restaurant cancelled on me 2 weeks before my trip to Napa so now I have to scramble to find a large group reservation at a nice restaurant, which is virtually impossible with the timing. Definitely bad business.
Sehr gutes Essen und sehr guter Service. Zu fünf Sternen fehlt ein wenig. Aber trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert.
9/4/26 - reservation for 11 people. Unfortunately a few in our party fell ill not long after. We believe it to have been the sauce served with the chicken or the tuna app. With the recent FDA : CDC recalls we were unsure if it was due to preparation or tainted products. The most distressing part however is the lack of concern from the hotel staff and manger Pamela Cardenas- they seem to not believe (or take seriously) food Bourne illness to be a danger to health and safety.
