Studio 101 in Victoria House was dirty and had a very unpleasant immediately smell upon entry. The window was left opened, I’m guessing to help disperse the horrendous odor. The blinds did not close completely so those outside can see directly into the studio since several of the panels were missing/broken. The handle on the oven door was broken. Pro: location city center and close to the train station, clean towels. Cons: way to expensive for what you get, mold almost everywhere in the bathroom (on the walls, showerhead etc), the place is dirty floors/kitchen etc (you don’t want to use the oven and want to clean the pans/pots probably 2 times before using is), almost no daylight and there is no view (other than windows and garbage bin), it smells like piss/garbage because at the back there is a garbage disposal and the homeless do sleep (and piss) there.
