Longing for an experience that will remind you of those glorious summers you spent on the Mediterranean as a child? Okay, maybe you didn't live there, but you'll soon feel like a true Sardinian in this very authentic Italian eatery that serves homemade rolls and thick, wide-noodle linguine. You may see a celeb or two hiding out incognito in the corner since this is a favorite hangout among the Main Street trend-setters. The small size and dark lighting also add to its very intimate and romantic feel, but the true draw is the... read more

A taste of Italy – I've frequented this restaurant for the last 6 years, and while I can empathize with a few of the negatives , this is hands-down my favorite dining destination in LA. Candlelit, great energy,(think SOHO or SF), and authentic delicious cuisine. Seafood salad tastes fresh , crisp and makes you think you are on the med., also the best Venison in LA. Period. More budget minded? The penne arrabiata (spicy pasta) is the best I've had in LA as well. Wine list is extensive , if more geared to the $80-$100 range, f... read more
good food, bad owner – the food was good, the waiters were nice but the owner was a pain. he hovered over our table hurrying us to finish, even though we ordered wine and spent a decent amount of money on the food. so the more money you spend here, the better you are treated. not what i would say makes a great restaurant.
The food is good – The food here is good but the portion is small. The ambience is nice and you can also see stars here. When I went Hilary Swank was at the restaurant. If you go on a weekday, you don't really have to make a reservation. We went on a Monday around 6pm and we were seated promptly. I would recommend this restaurant because the food is authentic.
Below Average – The place its very small and noisy, food below average, service not attentive, overpriced.
BAD BAD BAD BAD – I went there last week with my girlfriend and i will never go back...EVER!!! I had the worst service ever in my life, the waiter was not good at all, the food was just ok and the manager is just an italian soab! ; rude and very arrogant. I asked a simple question and instead his attention was pointing his eyes to my girlfriend, which was very uncomfortable. Not to talk of the price...WAY WAY WAY OVERPRICED!!! I will never send anybody that i know...of course i'll do just the opposite. Dont go here unless yo... read more
Lovely Authentic Italian Experience – I dined here about six months ago and had a great experience. I just read all the conflicting reviews and just dont get it. I rarely get excited as I am a very good cook myself but at that date and time it was great and my partner also loved it. We had a wondeful waiter, great food, and a great dessert the waiter reccomended. Only complaint it is a little cramped. We are going again this first week in April 2006 and bringing a third friend. I will let you know how it goes
A waste of an evening – The food: very bland salads, good main courses, average dessert. Overall, overpriced. We have found the service to be abysmal. In our most recent (and final) visit, we were asked to wait outside in the cold for our table and were glad we insisted on crouching by the bar since we waited nearly 20 minutes for our reserved table. We had to ask for bread partway through our meal, brought without oil or butter, our main dishes were brought before we had finished our appetizers, we had nearly finished our e... read more
Best Italian I know – We LOVE this place. It is a small, intimate, romantic feel (in can get a little noisy when really crowded), with fun, friendly and attentive wait staff -- when reading the specials you can feel the food melting in your mouth. The food is beyond excellent - everything is unbelievable. The raviolis are fantastic - lobster and porcini are favorites. Save room for dessert too. This is really one of the best restaurants in LA!
I went there with high expectations, but was sadly disappointed with the food and service. I went on a Monday night the restaurant was empty other than two other tables, so I thought we would get decent service, but i was mistaken. The waiter was not attentive at all. He made comments to us while walking by to attend to his one other table. The food was mediocre at best, it was overpriced for what you get. When we got the check, we were overcharged for a caprese salad, and he asked us if we wanted it adjusted...of course we ... read more
