I have experienced first hand the life saving skills, dedication and superior knowledge of the Doctors and veterinary support staff of the VMC. I am blessed to have a career supported by VMC's practice owner and administration, but even more-so, with the treatment of my own pet who would not have had quality time with our family before he gained his angel wings. I will be forever grateful.
Terrible experience, the more we talked with people that worked there the more different answers we got. No one is on the same page and we were told by the the secretary of the cardiologist (Xavier) to go to emergency and a cardiologist would be on call to see our dog we drove almost 2 hrs there from ROCHESTER and was not able to speak with the cardiologist all we got was a bad bedside manner emergency doctor and a almost $300 bill. I would recommend this place to anyone. My 2 year old doberman had an intestinal blockage and had to go in for emergency surgery. The doctor that saw him answered all our questions, spent the time with us. They called me to give me updates right away. When I did have to call there everyone was so nice. At time of discharge, they sat down with us and explained how to take care of him at home. I was very impressed with his treatment and how great the staff was. Super friendly and great with our 2 dogs.
After visiting our local Vet with a very sick kitty and getting a VERY incorrect diagnosis we were referred to Veterinary Med Center at 11pm after our poor girl was bleeding profusely from her nose. Once the Dr's there evaluated her we knew there was no hope. The staff at VMC were extremely empathetic and helpful in the process of making the decision to do the most humane thing for her.
