We rescue Dobermans and because of that we have had several dogs with dilated cardiomyopathy in recent years. We took our 7.5 year old, Heidi, to the Veterinary Heart Institute when she was diagnosed in September and again yesterday. Our experience with VHI both times has been exceptional. In addition to Dr. Pelosi, the staff, Erica and William, were wonderful from quickly fitting us in to be evaluated, carefully explaining details and procedures, and their follow through. What can I say about VHI team except that they are the best! Erika, Anthony and Marie - nice name - are excellent! And Dr Pelosi, the cardiologist, has a big heart and she's always 100% attentive to every patient. You should give VHI a try!
