Veterinary Emergency Services, located in Verona, Virginia, was founded in 1998 by a group of area veterinarians. Our goal was to establish a local animal hospital to provide high quality emergency pet care for critically ill or injured animals when the regular veterinarian's office is closed. Contact us when your pet is seriously ill or hurt and requires immediate medical attention. We are open from 6:00pm - 8:00am every weekday and 24 hours on Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Call before arrival for the fastest service.

These wonderful people are a true blessing to our county♡♡♡. I walked in covered in my baby's blood, both of us frantic and they took care of BOTH of us. I highly recommend them to anyone in a crisis with their pet aka family member. Thank you so much for all you did for Tater and my family.
So thankful for your help during a medical emergency. God knows how many hours my cat would have suffered if you guys had not been there. She had the care she needed in minutes after our arrival. Wonderful caring staff. My cat was cared for and so was my wife and I. Although my cat did not make it I was happy that she had care and relief from pain within minutes instead of hours and hours. We have had to bring our dog here two different times but the staff make it so much more bearable during a difficult time. I have no problem making the 30 minute drive when my pup is in need because I know I’m bringing him to kind and empathetic people who care about their furry patients. They have always taken great care of our pup so I would always recommend them.

I had to take my puppy there last night and the staff was wonderful with him and me. So loving and caring!
We took our Mollie last night after our other dog and her got into a fight. She ended up having surgery and lots of staples and stitches but she is going to be ok. The staff and Dr. Jagger were wonderful to both of my adult children that were very scared and nervous until I could get there. I am so thankful for them and the service they provide.
They are amazing! They have taken great care of our dog, Chance, over the past few months during a couple late night visits. Very professional in a crisis to get the job done but patient when the owner asks unlimited questions. Thank you for being so kind during our difficult time. I highly recommend them for all pet emergencies.
