Veterinary Emergency Services, located in Verona, Virginia, was founded in 1998 by a group of area veterinarians. Our goal was to establish a local animal hospital to provide high quality emergency pet care for critically ill or injured animals when the regular veterinarian's office is closed. Contact us when your pet is seriously ill or hurt and requires immediate medical attention. We are open from 6:00pm - 8:00am every weekday and 24 hours on Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Call before arrival for the fastest service.

RecommendedMy girlfriend’s dog was clipped by a car last night... From the time we called to when we arrived the assistant and veterinary on hand were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, not only in regards to Teddy but us as well. We highly recommend this clinic, and are beyond thankful to the staff!
Absolutely wonderful staff. My dog snapped her leg in half today. They saw us quickly, controlled her pain, and were very knowledgeable. I can’t say enough good things about the veterinary care provided here. It feels so good to know there is such an awesome place to take my dogs if anything happens.

I just want to say how caring & compassionate the staff were when it came time for me to say goodbye to my Sam. I had made an appointment to see our regular Vet Mon, but I knew he wouldn't make it through the weekend & I didn't want him to suffer anymore. He was 15 1/2 & we knew this time was coming. Thankful they were there to help in our time of need.

I want to thank the staff that worked this morning. I had to bring my sick dog in and have him put to sleep. You all were so very understanding and calming and handled everything so very professionally. ❤️ I could barely talk when I called to make sure they could handle my situation and the lady on the phone was very patient. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. RIP my Shaggy boy😞

Very excellent staff here at veterinarian emergency services in Verona. they help you anyway they can. we just had to use them for the first time tonight 7/31/2019 and I can say I would recommend them to anyone who has a vet emergency in the middle of the night. Dr. Neff is a wonderful dr.
7/19/19 10 pm. Receptionist nasty. Brought sick cat in I've cared for 9 months for euthanasia, but mentioned didn't know full history because he used to be my sister's who is in a nursing home. Was forced to call nursing home, sister's phone was dead, and involve staff to get ailing sister to phone while receptionist stood over me. Walked out. Sammy was euthanized 7/20. Have used this place for years as a rescuer of cats. Will never return. Disgusted.
