Veterinary Emergency Services, located in Verona, Virginia, was founded in 1998 by a group of area veterinarians. Our goal was to establish a local animal hospital to provide high quality emergency pet care for critically ill or injured animals when the regular veterinarian's office is closed. Contact us when your pet is seriously ill or hurt and requires immediate medical attention. We are open from 6:00pm - 8:00am every weekday and 24 hours on Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Call before arrival for the fastest service.

The employees at this facility did a excellent job with our Great Dane Zeke. I felt very comfortable leaving him there overnight, what a great group of caring people,
The staff, Vet techs, and the Vet were all kind, caring, and eager to attend to me and my kitty, even though the place was so busy they didn't have an exam room for us for quite some time. They helped me make a painful choice with care and dignity and I left feeling like I had done right by my pet, even though it was so heartbreaking. I would absolutely take future pets there if need be.
We brought my daughter's dog Luna with a pretty significant ear injury stemming from a fight to the clinic. Everybody was most caring and professional, efficient with assessment and getting Luna stitched up as quickly as possible. While her pride may be hurt because she needs to wear the "collar of shame", she will surely be back to her "lunatic" self very quickly. This place definitely knows their stuff. They log everything they do. Even the mood your pet is in during its stay. You can tell the staff are animal lovers and do everything within their power for your pet to be well again. We highly recommend them. They are worth every penny.
Such a friendly, attentive, and polite staff! They made us feel at ease with our pet's emergency situation. Highly recommended them to anyone seeking emergency veterinary needs.
I have worked with this staff both professionally and personally. They are both knowledgeable and beyond caring every time. We as a community are blessed to have them caring all night when an emergency arises. Thank you all for today!
