Do not use Veterans United if you are a self employed veteran. This place had me do crazy things, gave me a closing date and closing documents only to have me jump through more hoops 1 day before closing. They were dishonest the whole way, and did not seem to care about getting me my loan at all. Would send documents they requested and they wouldn’t view them till late the next day or the day after. There are better places to get your VA loan, avoid them like the plague.

Veterans United made my whole buying experience super easy. My home buying loan officer was always willing to answer any questions I had.
The process was very easy. There’s always someone available for any and all questions. Everyone on the team were very informative. As for the underwriting process sometimes they would tend to ask for the same things over and over but all in all it was a great experience.
