My dad is near end !!! And the staff has been awesome !!! Above and beyond there duty!!!!!!!!
My husband has been going to the Iron Mountain V.A. for several years now. He's always been treated with the utmost courtesy and respect from all of the staff. They always follow up with things, too. If there's another appointment needed, and no one to make the appointment while he's there, he always gets a call later that day or the next morning. They also call you to remind you of the appointment, as well as send you a reminder in the mail. I'm very satisfied with the treatment he's gotten, and so is he.
My husband has been going to Iron Mt. VA and we always find them to be caring....they take time and are thorough. He also goes to the outreach in Rhinelander and always has a positive experience. In comparison with the civilian doctors & hospitals they rate the same or greater. Unfortunately only the bad gets publicity and not the good!
Doctor at the Iron Mountain, MI VA changed my antibiotic from Keflex to Bactrim because the Keflex wasn't working, except he did not consider that Bactrim should not be given to people with Chronic Kidney Disease. I ended up in Marquette General Hospital because of possible Kidney failure the VA transferred me because I made have needed Dialysis.
Such caring helpful staff ! And volunteers are top notch !! �
This is only about MyHealthVA page I had enrolled in it quite awhile back but got lost. However, wanting to know results from a test, I gave it another try and found it quite helpful getting the test results I wanted. Unlike previous experiences with MyHealthVA I found it easier this time. I was able to look up appointment schedules, medicines I am or was taking and the aforementioned test results.
