This place is amazing. The staff is a s courteous and helpful as can be. The techs are really gently and compassionate about there work and handling youre pet. All the work and procedures are fully explained and all of youre questions are answered. The Dr's are great and knowledgeable and do great surgery and adtercare. I have already reccomended people to go there and will continue. If there was ten stars they would recieve it.
I would like to thank Dr. Barten and staff for the compassionate care given to my Egyptian tortoise, Tobie. Unfortunately, she had to be put to sleep today but I am grateful to have such a caring vet and animal hospital to depend on. Thanks again, Dr. Barten.

Thank you Vernon Hills Animal Hospital for being so understanding about my back injury and talking to me on a speaker phone while you were examining my pets. That meant the world to me. My Irish Water Spaniel would have tested the patience of any Doctor, but Dr. Barten was great with him. I can't thank you guys enough!
I have been coming to Vernon Hill Animal Hospital since my dog Riley was a puppy. Two weeks ago when I picking Riley up from a bath at the groomer I was told that Riley probably had an ear infection since yukky stuff was in one ear. I called VHAH and Riley was seen immediately. Dr. Sneed checked his ear, cleaned out all kinds of stuff then proceeded to check what the yukky stuff was under the microscope in order to know exactly what to give Riley to get rid of the infection. I love the care they provide. I highly recommend them. They care very much for the animals they look after. Their facility is very clean and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
