best hair place in Houston – This place is AWESOME. Today was the first day I went in and I immediately felt welcomed. The staff is unbelievablyyyyyyyyy friendly. The minute you walk in there, you feel like a little kid in a candy shop, the walls are off the chain and the service is even better. The haircut itself was really really good, i don't think im going to ever let anyone touch my hair again. you should definitely check this place out.
Quirky Salon in the Heights – After reading all the reviews about Venus Salon I decided to face my fears of another bad haricut and try it out. (I have been growing out my terrible haircut and bad highlights, from another salon, since last August!) Jill is truly fantastic! Excellent Hair Salon! – I surfed the net and went to Venus Hair Salon based on the excellent rating that they have received from majority of their customers. I had Jill cut, style, and color my hair. I received lots of compliments from my husband and friends. Jill is very professional, competent, and sensitive to my needs. Definitely, it won't be my first visit and highly recommends this place to my friends and family.
Jill is the best!!!!! – A friend of mine had gotten hair cuts from a pricey salon but the cuts were never what I thought were good. Then one day she had a new cut and told me she had gone to Venus. Jill is the absolute best!!!!! – Jill has been doing my hair for about a year, and I have always been very pleased with it. Her work with haircolor is fabulous, and she gives you the exact color that YOU want (not the color that the stylist thinks you should have). Her cuts are fantastic and right on cue, and last night was no exception. Sharon is amazing! – Sharon has colored and cut my hair twice now and I have to say both times she did an outstanding job. She has amazing attention to detail and gives you a style that fits your personality and your face. The atmosphere at the shop is relaxed, friendly, and definitely unique. I would highly recommend Sharon, and Venus Hair to anyone.
Everything is tweaked to perfection – Besides the groovy little shop they have, Jill always makes sure you leave the salon beaming with a fresh new look. Every little detail in your cut is tweaked to perfection. I usually come up with something for my hair that can't just simply be done because of the way my hair is grown out but she'll always work with you and bring it as close to what you want as possible. I can always trust Jill to work her magic!

Funky, cool salon – I've been going to Venus for about a year now and was so happy to find a decent, reasonable hair salon in the hood. Jill is my stylist and she always does a super job on my hair! The cut is always consistent and I know exactly what I'm getting. The funky vibe and decor equal a one of a kind haircut experience.
