First off Ive been a venus customer for years. Recently I ordered a swimsuit and it was on backorder for a while so I contacted them to cancel because I was tired of waiting and I was told no problem order has been canceled. Two weeks later I receive cancelled order so I contact again and they say go ahead and send back as I did. Three weeks after returning I don't hear anything so I check tracking only to see that they received return 2 weeks ago so once again I contact and they say with large returns it can take some time ... read more

I started shopping at Venus.com about 2 years ago. I've sent a lot of things back, some for a refund, some for exchange, some for a different size, but I always end up with a ton of clothes from every order. I now have a closet full of Venus clothes, mostly for summer. I've never had a problem with exchanges or refunds, and when I put in my order, it's shipped quickly. Very shady return policy: as stated on their invoice, if you use their prepaid return label $6.95 will be deducted from your refund. What is NOT stated on their invoice, is: per Venus customer service "if items returned result in your order total going under a certain amount, your will be charged for the ground shipping." So they're retroactively charging shipping on your order because of your return. This is incredibly underhanded and a very shady way of doing business.

I received a dress as a gift for Christmas from a family member. Unfortunately, the dress was a size too small and I needed to exchange it. I called the customer care department at Venus to advise on their procedure for exchanging a gift since I did not have an invoice. They informed me to return it with a note explaining that it was a gift,the order number, and the exchange I wanted along with where to send the exchange. I recently ordered several items online through a promotion to get free shipping for an order under $100. Venus sizes are all inconsistent & I needed to return 2 of the items as they were too big. I filled out the shipping label & dropped my items in the mail. Per the company return policy, $6.95 is deducted from each refund to pay for return shipping.
