The one star is for the women on reception ,so rude and unhelpful ,made us feel we were a hindrance to her .l have been in customer service all my life and never experienced anything like it ,the opposite of her father .Never ever should she be dealing with customers
Shocking after sales service from Venables. Carpet fitted summer 2024, reported fault months ago and woman on reception has terrible manners saying Paul (the owner) would contact us. After weeks of chasing Paul came out (a few weeks ago) and agreed there was a fault. Here we are still with a faulty carpet and chasing what’s to be done about it. Returning customer just had a new bedroom carpet fitted by Venables. We've had carpets from them several times over the last 15 years or so, and always a great experience. Fantastic selection of carpets to suit every budget, no hassle or pressure on the sales, really friendly fitters who work efficiently to get the job done. This time we were having other work done in the bedroom, that ran over so we had to delay the fitting, all sorted easily with one quick phone call, no moaning from them just alternative dates to agree.
Lovely man who couldn’t do enough to help, sorted me out in record time and even helped me load up . I will definitely be using their services again.
