Euro style coffee stop right on the edge of downtown with wonderful espresso, pour overs, and cold brew. Stand or sit at the counter, watch them roast beans, or take it to go. Their coffee is perfetto.
Great coffee. Wonderful people. Good roasters. All around good time.
Excellent shots. Perfect americano. Flourless brownie so good your tongue will whip out and slap your face.

I wanted so much to love Velo - I'd heard great things. The coffee was fine, but not exceptional, and the atmosphere was snooty and uninviting. My friend and I are new to the city, had just finished up a run along the river, and we were excited to try out what we expected to be our new fave coffee shop. We walked in, weren't greeted or made to feel at all welcome, nor were we offered any recommendations or even a menu. Maybe an off day, but based on this visit I won't be back.
