Excellent cottage (Little Petra) though a bit tight for two with two dogs. Easy access to good beach, though climb to car park (we are 70's) was a bit hard. Staff friendly and helpful. Short coastal path to shop and pub. Would I go again - probably not given high cost but enjoyed our week.
This is the most amazingly peaceful place we have ever stayed in... genuinely beautiful ... genuinely worth it!
We stayed here for a week in the ‘Petra’ cottage which was very charming and a great place to relax and also explore from! The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed, including a lovely garden with views of the ocean and amazing sunsets! It is right on the SW coastal path with an easy walk down into Sennen Cove to a number of pubs/restaurants. We just had the most wonderful stay at Velandreath Cottages and couldn't recommend them more ! The location is unbeatable—just a stone's throw from the sea, allowing us to enjoy some truly breathtaking sunsets every evening. Beautiful cottages overlooking the sea. Dog friendly too. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Log burner and great views too. It's a walk down from the carpark so they bring your bags down for you on arrival. A walk down to the beach isn't difficult and the town is close by.
