I came here as a last resort. I reached out to Dr Levy in the Transplant Dept and he made arrangements for my arrival from airport to my private room. Genevieve his assistant was there to answer any questions and make my trip simple. Wonderful staff and so many depts of experts its all in one place. I had an excellent experience in Labor and Delivery and the Mother and Baby unit in the middle of this pandemic. Everyone took every precaution to ensure we were not exposed and they were very attentive to my every want/need. I actually was able to have a healthy successful VBA2C! They supported my decisions as long as mine and my baby’s safety wasn’t at stake. My family is grateful for the care that everyone has received over the years at VCU Health. One of my sons has ended up having a medically complex illness and has seen many doctors at Children’s Hospital, had testing at the Pavilion and main hospital, and had quite a few admissions. Since VCU Health took over Colonial Heights ORTHOPEADICS billing they are incapable of doing their job. They were told over & over not to charge under my husband’s name as I WAS THE PATIENT NOT HIM, yet it’s easier for this one person to be rude to me & the Tricare Benefits Advisor & keep sending me new bills & threatening me with collection.
I went to the ER to get a chest x-ray Tuesday. They told me I can get the results online through the patient portal. Created one but said More Information Needed. Called the listed number 2x and left messages but no one has called me back or send me an online invitation to move forward with my account. I’m sick and my doctor needs to see the test results! Please!!!!!... it’s been more than 48 hrs and I still haven’t gotten my test results!!!! Lousy hospital!!!!
