Caring people doing great work. The Doctors follow up with me kept me updated on my dogs progress and helped calm many worries.

My family takes all of our dogs here, and they are treated with nothing less than respect and care. Our 22-year-old terrier, Ringo, passed away the day after he was seen here. Ringo was dehydrated and they put in an IV to help him as best they could. I am so thankful for them, for I know that Ringo was treated wonderfully. Took our Bull Mastiff puppy in to get spayed and loved the staff and service. They were professional, caring and knowledgeable. We loved how they kept her the first night to keep an eye on her as part of the spay package. Awesome service!

I have taken my animals there for many years, and I'm very satisfied with the vets and most staff. Occasionally there will be a receptionist that is clueless or a bit short, but overall, I have observed kindness there! On Christmas Eve I took my sick 14.5 year old dog, Dixie, in due to sudden onset vomiting. The vet listened to me, and another wonderful vet came in on his day off to do an ultrasound. My dog is already doing so much better, and while I know she will not live forever, I trust Valley Oak to give me the straight... read more

I had to bring my lab in at 3 am and had no idea what was wrong with him. Within an hour I found out that he had kidney failure. Your staff tried to make him better with fluids, meds, etc. but once the ultrasound showed his kidneys were abnormally small we knew that he wasn't going to get better. Thank you to Dr Portillo and Ashley and all of the staff at valley oak. Its been 3 months now since we had to put our sweet Rosie down after 6 months of treatment. It was a very hard time and the staff there was so amazing. Ashley even came in on her day off the day we had to put Rosie down. Whenever we are ready to bring another dog into our life we will bring it to Valley oak for sure.
