I have been lucky to attend this surgery for a couple of years. It is honestly the best NHS service I have come across. The GP’s are lovely, they action management plans quickly and I haven’t experienced difficulty in trying to get an appointment. The receptionists are also 10/10, so helpful and kind. Recently attended the surgery for a nurse led clinic, the nurse was lovely and made me feel at ease during the appointment. 4 years ago this was one of the highest rated surgeries in the region. Since being bought out it's gone downhill. Its taken them 2-3 months of constant calls (from my side) to address severe back/pelvic pain concerns and to this fay I have to call and beg for updates. Ive had to correct their doctors on body anatomy questions - eg where the appendix is located (right NOT left) and what appendicitis pain is! 10th grade biology material!! Overall, I love the practice and recommend them to everyone. The receptionist and administration (mainly the females) could be a bit nicer, patient and give more assistance but I've seen way worse so I'm not too bothered about them. The gps, nurses and other clinical staff have in my experience always gone above and beyond. Special shout out to Dr Laura, Dr Harris and John Williams.
Please provide proper training to the reception staff. They are not in charge, and they should not act as if they are. They must speak to patients respectfully and treat everyone equally without discrimination.
