WHAT A CROC! Shame on You! I had a puppy with a hurt leg and was referred to this place because it was less expensive and at this point I would try anything to get my dog taken care of. My Dad, Dr. Van Aken Van Aken Pet Hospital started in the 1960's by Dr. Warner B. Van Aken. For all those that remember, Dr. Van Aken was an amazing healer. Cost was negotiable because healing and saving a life was more important. My dad is now 87 and living with me in Jacksonville, OR. We lost my mother and his wife, Jean Van Aken, who was, also, the life blood of the hospital. It is a living testament to my father that the clinic is still called Van Aken Pet Hospital. A big huge Thank you Dr. S. Johnson Dr. Suzanne Johnson has taken care of our dogs and cats for over 12 years. She is the most patient and kind Dr. we have ever had for many years for our pets. She has never done surgeries that we didn't want and she has never over priced us on medications or vet bills compared to other vet clinics that over price. A big heart felt THANK YOU! I was referred to Dr. Johnson from friend I have grown up with in PA. When I pulled up I can tell you the aesthetics were not so pleasing to the senses, but that was not my concern as much as the health and well being of my pets, so I quickly put that aside. Van Aken Pet Hospital I have taken my pets to the Van Aken Pet Hospital for almost 10 years and I believe Dr. Susanne Johnson is a top notch Vet. She has cared for my dogs and has helped me add years onto my aged dog. The distance was so far from my home and when I retired I no longer drove past the hospital. I decided to change Vet Clinics at that time, but came back to Van Aken. The other clinic was good, but not as good as Van Aken.
Spay & Neutering Lower cost and quality care for spaying and neutering your four-legged children. Vets and staff are wonderful! They are caring, kind, and curtious. Same day service on spaying and neutering as well as vaccinations.
