They are part of the family... I have been taking my four legged family members to Dr Johnson for 6 years now. She has always treated all my animals with dignity, respect and love. She is well educated and stays current on veterinary medicine. 9 weeks ago, one of my dogs fell 10 feet off a slide and tore the ligaments in his right front wrist. No Other Veterinarian I Would Use I am the client to which Bill G. is referring to in his review below dated November 17, 2011. Dr. sue Johnsen. Worst Veterinarian-Van Aken Pet Hospital terrible Dr. Johnsen is the most unprofessional and insane Vet I have ever encountered. There are simply other low cost vets with better reputations! I am NOT a customer of Van Arken Pet Hospital. I grew up around 20 years ago on 51st avenue and Thomas. We made frequent trips down Indian School and honestly most of the businesses there are not ones I would recommend. In the past 20 years the area has gotten even worse. I remember that vet clinic from my childhood and remembered never wanting to take my pets there! Even as I child, I knew that place didn't look right.
Dr Johnson is the Best! I have been seeing Dr. Johnson at Van Aken for several years and she has treated all of my cats and dogs with love every time. I would trust Dr. Johnson with any of my animals without hesitation. She has always treated them with the best possible care and concern. She has always been wonderful to me as well. I believe with all my heart that she the best vet I have ever been to and trust her completely!
Dog gone good deal! We took our dog to Vanaken to be spayed. They did it the same day and it was cheaper than other vets! They are truely passionate about animals and it shows! The staff is helpful and the place is spotless!
Van Aken Pet Hospital I have taken my pets to the Van Aken Pet Hospital for almost 10 years and I believe Dr. Susanne Johnson is a top notch Vet. She has cared for my dogs and has helped me add years onto my aged dog. The distance was so far from my home and when I retired I no longer drove past the hospital. I decided to change Vet Clinics at that time, but came back to Van Aken. The other clinic was good, but not as good as Van Aken.
