Better service than other VA hospitals I have been too.
They took excellent care of my boyfriend and we enjoyed a wonderful courtesy of their fine cafeteria.
I went to my appointment on time and waited. The doctor came out and said I wasn't a priority and he would be back in an hour and left. I saw a nurse and said I'm not going to be able to wait that long. I live over an hour away. Could I reschedule my appointment? She said yes I could. Veterans are being overbooked because upper management is trying to cover-up the waiting time. That way they can say you got an appointment even though they reschedule you. The Veteran's choice program is killing me. My local VA hospital is incapable due to being new (Orlando VA Hospital) of doing the surgery I need to live. I have been referred to the Veteran's Choice Program. I have been given the run-around for months having my file deleted every 30 days to keep their stats good. Then having to start over from scratch every month. For months I have had a 2.0cm kidney stone that hurts like fuck. I pee blood daily. Still fighting with travel about pay I should have been receiving for the last two months. .. Had to get the Patient Advocate involved and they seem to be stonewalling them as well... Im truly irritated but everyone else has been professional and helpful
This was my first visit to this VA Medical Center and I am very satisfied in how smooth everything went,,everyone was very attentive and willing to help..
