I have only had very good experiences at the Orlando VA Medical Center at Lake Nona as well as the Orange City Outpatient Clinic and Daytona Beach Clinic. I use the Eye care Clinic and visit for occasional lab work at Daytona Clinic. My primary doctor at Orange City VA Clinic is very efficient and helpful. All the staff I have met at VA facilities have been nothing less than exceptional.

Garbage administrative personnel. Nurses who are not compassionate. Doctors who don’t give a shit about patients nor do they assist when serious health issues exist.

THE. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER! Today, on my birthday, I spent 11 hours in the ER. I waited 5 hours to be brought back in a bed. Another two hours to get a CT scan for confirmation of an internal hemorrhoid. Another two hours to get discharged, only to wait an hour and a half and my name given to FOUR pharmacy techs to come back and tell me that I didn't have to sign for my meds. They came with NO instructions for use. I had to go back to my Dr that prescribed the hydrocortisone to have him explain the instructions. I'm truly ... read more

PLEASE BE AWARE OF DR. VELURI SAVITHRI-CHANDRA AT THE WOMEN'S HEALTH CLINIC, I am an100% service connected Marine who is also a retired, award-winning Lisc Clinical Social Worker (MSW-NYU) for the VAMC for 17 years. In the 27 years that I have been a veteran, & the 5 States I have received VA medical care from, I HAVE NEVER PERSONALLY OR PROFESSIONALLY come across a more uncaring, unsympathetic, mentally abusive medical staff person in the VA or private sector. PLEASE, female veterans beware.
