Quick and easy. They do try to take your money right off the bat... We called and asked for a price for convential oil, they said $40. But when we arrived, they wanted to charge $90 because it's "synthetic oil" which is BS. Just because we're females doesn't mean we don't know about our own car we're driving. The Valvoline in Ellisville,MO is not a good location...drove in with 4 bolts to my oil pan and left with 2...wondering what else I do or do not have under hood...Sunset Hills location is EXCELLENT..should never have strayed...Valerie Meier

AVOID IF POSSIBLE i went in with $19.99 coupon and was charged $49.43 and was told after i found out that he made a mistake and would fix it and give me the oil change for free. i got my credit card bill and found he did nothing i have 5 cars i take there will never go there again the manager told me he could do nothing for me either.

Beware!! This place practices deceptive business practices by telling customers their car requires synthetic oil when not required by manufacturers recommendations. And then cutting the number of miles in half for what is required for next oil change.

I read the "great reviews," and went to Valvoline on Randolph Rd. in Charlotte. The girl told me she's not allowed to put conventional oil in my car (BS!), then another girl asked me if I had a warranty on my car, etc... They started taking filters out of my car and told me this is what you are inhaling (sounds familiar?) and it's not good for you; if you don't change it with us other places will charge more (BS!). We've taken all 3 of our cars here for oil changes & tire rotations. Never had a problem with them & service was fast.

Take your car somewhere - ANYWHERE - else! No one was staffing the store when I arrived. I checked the office and restrooms. After 5 minutes I finally found a guy sitting in his car at the back of the lot. He said he was on his break and refused to help. He insisted there were 2 guys inside to help me - even though I told him no one was there. I was returning to my car to leave when the 2 guys came climbing over the wall from Carls' Jr next door. Do Not allow the individuals who work at Valvoline to perform anything other than an oil change on your vehicle. I went into Valvoline with a working car, spent $300 on maintenance and left with a broken car, that cost another $400 to fix. 1.) Radiator flushing: The technician reversed the process and flushed old fluid into my car, instead of out of my car. 2.) Did not replace the spark plugs with new spark plugs and did not tighten them correctly, I left the lot and my car stalled. 3.) Oil change, no problems and was quick.... read more
