I underwent a lower lumbar procedure which consisted of a fusion of two of my spinal disc(s) due to severe pinching of two root nerves that was effecting my lower back and my legs (walking). The pain was extremely painful. I was blessed to have been referred to Dr. Sasan Yadegar, Neurological Spine Surgeon. Dr. Yadegar was thorough at explaining his diagnosis and the procedure/plan of action to correct the problem. This hospital is not in the business of making money, they are in the business of healing people. The doctors and nurses have a very important advantage only many places in the Valley: they have CLUE. High quality medicine, and they happily take MediCal. The one thing they aren't is a Trauma Center. The only place certified as such in the Valley is Holy Cross Hospital.
Their medical staff is so exceptional, pofessional and very patient-oriented. They took care of me the moment I arrived. The doctor eased my pain and was on top of my medical needs and in time achieved medical stabilization. I am so glad we live a block away.

A big thumbs up to staff at Valley Presbyterian Hospital! Over the past several years, we've made three visits to their ER and had two inpatient stays. We've always received excellent quality care from dedicated and skilled healthcare professionals. They saved my husband's life when he suffered a major heart attack four years ago and they took great care of him today following a fall that left a gash in his head.
