Talked to an ER nurse asking about my father. I live in FLORIDA and he lives in SLC. I was misinformed on what hospital he went to, I apologized about the confusion and the ER nurse I spoke to on the phone was over the top rude about the whole thing. I was nothing but nice to her but I guess people arent allowed to make mistakes. Sure as hell glad my dad didn't go there - I'd hate to see how the nurse would treat a patient after how she treated me!
There is still a lot of room for improvement. Beginning with better customer service, and better availability of care. The medical admin staff need to be better trained on VA policies. Veterans DO NOT need referrals for scheduling for treatment of there service connected disabilities.
