I am completely impressed with the care I've received. The last 2 months have been tough for me medically, but the care I've received has been superb. Ancillary services, Dr's, RN's, ward staff, dietary.....everything. I have a great PCM and Jill Thompson has been a dream for me pulling everything together as my case manager. I'm not done yet, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere but here based on the care I've received so far. Thank you.....!!

I called the Director’s office to complain about this and “Julie” thought it was funny. She then transferred me to the Primary Care team instead of taking a complaint. What would you expect from someone who is NOT a veteran?????
The endocrinology department needs extensive education on modern transgender medicine.
I had a procedure on my prostate yesterday at the SLC VA urology department. At the end of the procedure I was in the worst pain I had ever felt. The doctors were confused as no one had had pain like this from the procedure. According to my wife, I spent the next 30-40 minutes in excruciating pain. I was not provided pain medication of any kind. The head of the urology department was there for the procedure and during the time I was in pain. Who knows VA best?, a Veteran, and former VA Employee from Prescott, Arizona VA, which I have used VA SLC in past times and acknowledge a Superior VA Hospital that I have known. right here.
for starters, leadership could hold themselves to the same standard they hold everyone else to.
I have had very good care from the VA here in Utah over the past 10 years. I was given a portable oxygen concentrator early this year and by March it was not working properly.. It was returned to the VA in late March for a check. It is now 6 months later and I still do not have it back. I found that it was returned by Phillips after three months and that it still did not work. Now three months later it is still not back.
