To whom it may concern my brother passed away about a month ago at the VA hospital in Salt lake City Utah I wanted to thank the intensive medical care unit for their caring and compassion toward my brother and my family. I cannot thank Marty and Matt enough along with the doctors Marty performed the basic of rituals shaving and trimming my brothers beard and mustache after he passed. He looked at peace. Believe this model is a good one for all health care systems. If congress would consider this approach it would cost much less for everyone who really needs care. Get rid of insurance companies and go to a fee based system for all citizens and take care of everyone evenly, no qualifiers.

Best hospital in 5 state area. Treats it's Veterans with dignity and respect.
This place is just as crappy as the rest of the country. Well, they're worse actually. Anyone who knows the VA, knows what I'm talking about. I only hear good things about our older vets, who deserve the absolute best, and even those aren't treated very well. Any and all combat wounded guys, like myself, are usually treated like absolute garbage. Do yourself a huge favor and get into the Choice program as quickly as possible... Go outside the VA and let them rightfully pick up the bill.
