I was at the SLC UT VA and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I actually get better treatment and care at the VA than at regular doctor office.
A lot of inexperienced Doctors. More interns than Doctors. The one serving grace are the Nurses. The Salt Lake VAMC is one of the best VA Hospitals in the Nation...and it can't hold a candle to the eight "civilian" hospital in the Salt Lake Valley. I have a heart condition, but have had more Cardiologist "Doctors" than I can remember. When I was going to non-VA hospital and clinics, I had just two and knew them both by their first names. My experience at the S.L.C. VA has always been top notch, including my trip yesterday. There are some services that take time but that is to be expected. Thank you all the professional men and women here at the Salt Lake City VA
I had a very good visit. Everyone was helpful with every question.
Yesterday there was a parking problem, (I guess construction on parking lot. 4 elevators but only one was working. Needless to say a long wait. Then at blood draw peoe waiting in hall because not enough chairs. Say they were short staffed is reason for long wait. Label maker not working created more problems. Other than that everything was great
Still here. Day 5. What a fun place to wait out all of the snow storms. I miss my dogs though.
I want to thank everyone that has provided excellent care to my father. MEDICU Acute care Dialysis thank you so much for taking care of that old Marine. Fisher house you have made it possiable for my family to be there to support my father. You all are angels and I am so thankful for you and the safe place in the storm.
Honestly one of the best care iv got. I had the lung specialist ask about my ptsd to make sure if I was ok or if I needed help, so not only I got my lung issue in the process of being takes care of but they care for the persons mental health.
I've really never had any problems. I've been extremely happy with my care. The parking is less than desirable. But with valet parking it makes a little better.
