Lately this place has gone to the dogs. I had to sit with the nurse to ensure that my prescribed medications were ordered. Guess what? I still haven't gotten Metformin, Losartin...I hope I get my Metrophol Tartrate for my heart. Prediction I'll be in the E.R. sometime this year.
To be a government run facility I found the operation to be suprisingly efficient. The Doctors I've delt with and their staffs have been thorough. Dr Raymond has followed up on tests results ordered by my civilian Doc but never acted on. The VA caught my heart problem before I had a heart attack and did a quadruple bypass. I didn't even suspect anything was wrong with my heart. His nurse Yvonne Crews calls if there is anything show up on my tests I should know and is always available if I call with a question.
Jacksonville Needs a VA Hospital. Simple as that!
