Beware! Do not sign anything until you have at least one other quote. It all sounds great until you realize you are getting ripped off and are now stuck in a 25 year contract! If they offer you a PPA at $0.18/kW, throw them out of your home and call a different company. That is highway robbery and they know it!
Sweet talkin young salesman made it sound like everything was refundable and noncommittal to get signed up to go after the Tesla powerwall rebate for high-risk fire areas. Jump several Hoops for them had a site evaluation and then when the time comes to sign a contract, it is completely different than what the kid says. No refundable deposit after my 3-day right of rescission no mention of when permitting begins no mention of what the timeline is for getting approval and continuing forward. Second time and second house with this company. Would NEVER work with anyone else but V3. They are the most efficient, honest and reliable.
I wasnt comfortable dealing with these guys. There estimate was too high and not competitive. They were not forthcoming with all details either. Didn,t trust them. Fast talking sales people. I just had their new sales guy bother me yesterday and finally had to shut the door on him and this is after he knew I already have a solar system from another company. These guys are trouble and i wish they would just stop bothering me.
I have just completed the purchase of my solar with V3 Electric and the entire process has been very easy. Our rep Shad R*******n, was attentive and professional. The install crews were great (working on the roof during on an off rain showers) and the end result is no more high electric bills! The communication via text and emails updating us on every phase of the project told me they were on top of the details along the way. Update to my post on 5/9/19. They just came back for the FOURTH time on 7/5/19. So much for "we take this seriously" Now the police and courts are involved.

Extremely aggressive door to door sales person violated three city ordinances. The first was ignoring a clearly posted NO SOLICITING sign (on three separate occasions), the second was returning after being told I was not interested and the third was refusing to properly identify himself. When asked to identify himself he became irate, shoving his ID badge in my face and then demanding my name.

V3 represents Sunrun who does the solar installations. V3 has good reviews. I have been working with a V3 rep. about a solar installation. I signed some documents last night authorizing them to check my credit and inspect my roof. The papers I signed referenced Sunrun as the company who would do the work. The company is dishonest and the billing company they use is not transparent with charges and they are rude and unprofessional when you call in to inquire. I am not happy with the fact that I cannot determine the actual amount of solar collected from month to month and the bill fluctuates. The sales reps do not tell you that Edison will still charge you a time of use fee and that you have to still pay SCE $500 per year even tho you generate more power then you use.
