Be very careful if you decide to purchase your solar system from V3. I made that decision the past September after giving it almost a year, I have a $20,000 system on my roof and see very little change to my SMUD bill. This company has your back. I'll admit, my install was a bit rocky at first. There were a few damaged tiles from all the work on my roof. It was right before rainy season, so you can imagine how anxious I was about getting leaks. After the install was done one of the installers sealed the areas as a temporary fix but they called the main office letting them know. I’ve been doing a lot of research on solar before any companies came up to me. I ended up going with V3 because they’re a company that’ll be here for the long haul. Yes, the program was more expensive than other companies that’ve quoted me, but what good will those savings do if that company won’t be here in 20+ years? Got my true up bill just a few months ago and I’m hardly paying PG&E a dime now.
I had a young man knock on my door and I honestly thought to myself "this was a scam." I wasn't sold on the whole idea of a "utility option" until sat down with Eric C********, one of their sales managers, and he explained the whole thing to me from beginning to end. I have now had my solar for a couple of months and am very pleased. Be skeptical in all things you hear regarding solar, ask a lot of questions, and make sure it all makes sense. I would refer V3 and Eric as your solar experts. They know what they are doing.
V3 is excellent, they helped us pick the best option for our house and were extremely professional throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks!
